Joy Maziar is the founder of Holistic Intuitive Bodywork and has had a successful private practice, transforming the lives of individuals and groups for over 11 years. She travels internationally offering her vast experience and expertise as a bodyworker, health consultant, yoga practitioner and now InnerGuidanceTM Facilitator and IG Coach in training.
Known for her impeccability, passion for service and innate ability to activate lasting results, Joy, as a life long learner and contributor, is offering IGI Signature programs in Bali and co-creating bodywork healing programs with Amara Samata, Founder of InnerGuidanceTM International.
Her unique hands-on approach was developed as a result of sharing her bodywork with hundreds of people of all ages and health conditions in the last 11 years. Using Myofascial Release, cupping therapy, and essential oil therapy combined to help relax and nurture any client and meet them exactly where they are both physically and emotionally. Joy believes that her main task is to activate ‘the inner healer within” and restores the body to it’s natural state of vibrancy by harmonizing internal energy flow, and releasing trauma and other stagnant energy stored within the fascia and cellular memory.
Joy’s intuitively guided massage techniques are complemented by her extensive understanding and use of pure essential oils for a thoroughly therapeutic and sensory experience. Integrated TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) methods such as cupping, facilitate the movement of ‘chi’ (life-force), and any stagnancies, opening and freeing the body’s natural energy channels.
"Most people have no idea how your body is designed to feel." - Kevin Trudeau
Integrated Bodywork is my own unique and powerful combination of myofascial massage, cupping therapy, InnerGuidance Method and essential oil therapy. This blend of alternative medicinal practices, complemented by deeply guided intuition, restores the body to it’s natural state of vibrancy and internal energy flow by releasing any trauma or stagnant energy stored within the fascia and cellular memory.
Treatments last approximately 2 hours, with time allowed either side for pre-consultation and post-treatment sharing of follow-up practices and tools you can take away with you to continue nurturing the body.
Yin yoga is the practice of yoga asana (postures) that offer a deep stretch, as we connect to our breath and body, remaining in any one posture for 3-5 minutes. By slowing down and attuning ourselves to the language of our physical form, we learn how to pause, breathe gently into our experience and then move with grace further into all that is present in each moment.
Yoga teaches us how to move through life with greater ease, by highlighting the physical, mental and emotional strength we may not have recognised within ourselves before. It allows us to relate to the many aspects our our human experience, demonstrating our inherent ability to find personal balance, inviting us to lean into our challenges, and offering an opportunity to explore the inner sanctuary and haven we create for ourselves within our own being through mindful practice.
Whether to complement bodywork treatments, develop a personal practice, or to share yoga with a group of special individuals, I offer deeply nourishing and whole-systems approach to yin yoga classes.
"It is through your body that you realize you are a spark of divinity." - B.K.S. Iyengar
Through the rediscovery of a deep relationship with the physical body, our capacity to heal is placed back in our hands. When we reach for holistic and natural tools for health, we embark upon a journey through which we have a real opportunity to re-establish our rootedness and our groundedness in life, reflecting the ancient inherent wisdom of the natural world, existing in symbiosis with all that lives and breathes on the planet. Much like the trees of the forest, we must be firmly rooted in our experience, working in interdependence with our environment, and in understanding of our natural ability to self-heal and receive all that we need to thrive.
As deeply healing Integrated Bodywork begins the process of restoring you to your natural state of balance and vitality, Yin Yoga further supports your unfolding by retraining the fascia and muscles to work in a new way, creating strength, resilience and flow within the body and within your life. Yin Yoga practice continues the work that Integrated Bodywork starts, by providing ongoing practical tools for taking charge of your well being.
"As spiritual adults we accept the responsibility of co-creating our lives and our health. Co-creation is in fact the essence of spiritual adulthood. It is the exercise of choice and the acceptance of our responsibility of those choices." - Anatomy of the Spirit
